I didn't even realize at first what was going on. Then I wandered to a town, noone in the town. Just puddles of blood where I'm assuming there should be a person. Noone anywhere, noone to talk to, noone walking around, etc. I made another character, puddle of blood where I guess the first npc/follower is supposed to be. Un/re-installed, same deal. I can not start a character that has any other beings in the game. Only animals and pseudo-dead or undead things. No living person types whatsoever. Patched, unpatched, new chars, other peoples save games, etc. I'm lost now, figured I would see if this has ever occured before. Windows XP, more than enough for min req's and uh.. yeah. Thanks in advance for any help. -Moi
Hi TheMole74. I’ve’ never even herd of such a thing happening before. No people what so ever :-o . Did you try other cities, or did you not get past the crash sight? There all dead in at the crash sight, except for Virgil. For humor, unless it’s true? Are you shore you didn’t go into a trance and start killing, then woke up and said where is everybody. Suggestions Don’t respond to things more than a weak back. And ignore wolf when you meet him, he likes yelling at people.
Haha, I wish I was in a trance. If I didn't try it 20 different times 15 different ways I wouldn't believe it myself. Yeah, I explored the first cave because I didn't even know virgil was supposed to exist until I tried to read up on why it could be happening. I even found the guy in the cave that wants me to kill the priest and what not. Walked there, no guy, just a house and lots of nothing. Then walked to the city, a whole bunch of nothing. The ONLY thing I could think of is a faulty CD rom and bad install, MAYBE. Other than that, I am completely stumped, twice. And a half. Thanks for the help though, Moi
I would send you a new Arcanum map but it’s 545MB for the whole thing. If you can start the game and move around, it doesn’t sound like your computer. Unless this is a new problem and it worked before. I would suggest trying to get a new CDs.
