Too many smileys, too many spelling mistakes, I haven't slept for 28 hours and I simply can't take that much dumb while in this state but I made it to the point where he describes how his mother pwned his consoles with a claw hammer. I think the guy should concentrate on getting the fuck out of his parents home before even thinking about buying/reinforcing any electronic equipment.

What a dolt. Man his parents must be psycho. Probably a spoilt little smart assed brat. Still if my mother broke my Xbox, especially more than once, I think I would have to constitute tough love with a shotgun.

He was so damn calm about it though, as if it was only a minor inconvenience and he could easily get more.

However this is the real measure of an idiot wrecking something.

How to keep dust out of your PS3

... at what point in history did people decide that thinking was bad and that they'd be better off without?

The kid seems like a little fucktwat to me. He's in 8th grade but pisses and whines like a little bitch when his mom takes his games away because he's getting bad grades. I went through that when I was in school too, but I didn't act like a little bitch. I made an effort and got better grades and my mom gave my games back np. That little 'tard needs some better discipline, not to get away from his parents. Shit, kids these days get away with so much more than 30 years ago it's sick. I'm glad the fat little fuck got what was coming to him. I hope his mom finds the game he has now and crushes it with her vagina since he's too fucking stupid to learn from his mistakes or stop and think "Gee I'm just a kid, maybe I should actually listen to my parents."

    ...Shit.

    Here ye, here ye.
And DE, I think it was about 10 to 15 years ago, when people decided that high priced technology is something for kids to play with and chew on.

Yeah, but 10 or 15 years ago, that same tech was large and heavy enough to keep kids in line without breaking it. And, if not the first two criteria, durable as fuck. Any nintendo made device was beyond durable, as proven by the NES controller hole in one of the walls of my room.

I have yet to meet a piece of Nintendo hardware that doesn't work anymore just because it got old. I could go up into my parent's attic tomorrow, pull out our old front-loading NES & SNES, pop in Faxanadu or Contra III and have it fire up on the first (maybe second) try. In the mean time, I had to replace my original Playstation a couple years after I got it because all the game discs started skipping regardless of their condition. I don't even own a PS2 anymore after going through 3 of them that just decided to stop reading discs, and now my Xbox only reads discs if you eject and reload them a couple times when turning the thing on.

Now you might say "Well maybe it's just a drawback of the CD/DVD format of games." But to that I would refute: Then why has my Dreamcast, Gamecube, Wii, and even CD/DVD roms in my PC NEVER given me the same issues? In spite of good game development, Sony and Microsoft have been a blight on the field of gaming hardware. I'll never buy another Sony system again regardless of what kick ass games are exclusively released for it. As it were, Microsoft currently has 2 strikes against it as well, as far as I'm concerned. It's refreshing to see Nintendo back on top of the tech world again.

I don't know about you, but I always had to really give my NES some lovin before it would play anything. Blow the dust out of the console, breathe a warm breath onto the cartridge contacts, jiggle the receptacle just right. And for the love of God, don't bump the console or jerk the controller cable while you play or your game data will be lost forever.

When my brother wanted me to get off the Nintendo so he could watch TV, he'd push the power button and hold it in, tell me to hurry up and finish what I was doing cause he was going to release it. This was especially infuriating on games that didn't have a save function.

My sister pulled that shit with me all the time.
Thing is, she never did it to watch TV. She did it to piss me off.

By brother did so once or twice. Then, I "told" him to stop, and he did.

Blow the dust out of the NES a few times, then repeated slamming of the old 14'' TV until it stopped flickering. Oh hell yes, that's some great nostalgia right there. You just can't give the flat TV's of today the same kind of tough love.
