    Is there ever anything in those newspapers that has any real game value or are they just backround and environment setting fluff?

    Newspapes r sometimes needed for certain quests.eg,the taxes quest given to u by the king of dernolhm.u can use the newpaper found in a part of dernolhm(not sure where..)to show the mayor of black root to pay the taxes

    Sometimes they also nudge you in the right direction in certain quests. Plus, they're just cool. They add to the atmosphere of the game. I got a kick out of reading about some of the things I did in the Tarant Daily.
