Newbie question about Female characters

Hi all. I'm looking forward to starting this game but before I do I'd like to know if playing a female character affects the game. i.e. Are there romance options for females? Different quest solutions for female characters?

Also, does the Car Arcanum mod include any gender-specific content?

Any input along those lines would be helpful. Thanks!

 

I think female characters get maybe one extra quest and an altered version of one other. They don't really get any "romance" options. Though they can opt to have a mature "experience" or two.

 

None at all? I thought I read somewhere that females could romance Raven, only it was a lot harder?

 

However, anyone can bed Min Gorad. Man, woman, ogre, orc, dwarf..just about anyone. I might be exaggerating with the orc, but I know she'll do something. But, it's not really a romance with her. She just has an itch to scratch.

 

Hee hee, thanks. We ladies get no love. I know "romances" are a trifle to most players, but I just wanted to know before I spent many hours with the game with the wrong character.

 

I've never gotten that to work with anyone but an Elf. Even after joining the Dark Elves... she just won't go for it.

 

Vorak is in error. A woman can win Raven but she has to be human, elf, or half-elf - and a maxed-out beauty queen of a saint to do so.

 

Well, for it to work with Min, you need to be maxed out with persuasion, beauty, and pretty much every other superficial quality that leads to interesting conversations in the game.
The first time I tried it was with a dwarf that had a charisma bonus.

Also, I think that Raven only goes for humans, half elves, and elves in general. I could never get her to love my half ogre or dwarf, but it might just be from a certain lacking in stats.

I had to try it out, and yes, she will put out for the three races I mentioned but you have to be way the hell up there in everything including beauty and alignment.
