New to Arcanum, old hand at RPG

Hi all, just thought I would drop in and say "Greetings traveler" Got a few questions

What in the name of the gods does the NP-10 or NP+25 on the blasted boots mean. I cant seem to figure that out

does dread armor have an negative effect on your reaction. does it add up over time. Thats why I had to kill magnus, poor fellow


Were is the littel gnome twit that I have to kill to get the glass key. I already broke in and killed the storm guards. I can't get the damn key thogh.

Just for the record, dwarven followers suck. I had to kill magnus and I think im gonna have to kill the little fat one you pick up in Quintarr.

P.S. My charecter
Mage, 100 magik Ap, 99 good, Lv 45, master force, convenvce necro black&white

 

It stands for Noise Protection. It is the modifier added for the Prowling Skill.

You probably had to kill him because if you attack good or neutral things (the Dwarven zombies in the basement of the jewelers or bunnies come to mind) in the game without them attacking you first he gets pissed.

I don't believe you can get it unless you complete the Mannox quest and then talk to him. Once you get the things, then you can kill him. :evil: BTW, he is at the Panarii Temple in Caladon.

That is true if you are an evil mage. If you are a good mage they are merely so-so. If you are a tech character they are OK. Nobody beats Dog though.
