It you want to encought kids to read have then read interesting book like Dune, and the other books about Dune Univ is than good start, The Lord of the Ring is than other good collection of books, alone with Robert Heinle Glory Road, The Moon is than Harsh Mistress,Beyond this Horizon, books by Arthor C. Clark, books by Issac Asimov. Not book that are dull and boreing. French is haveing the problen in getting kids to read books to.

I disagree- 5'5" is average for a woman now, 5'6 is pretty small for a guy. I think average for a man is somewhere around 5'9".

 

But it's not too unusual is the thing. I mean, he would be short, but not too much of an oddball.

 

I'm about 5'10, 5'11 myself, and I'd consider myself on the shorter side of average. Then again, maybe that's just the whole "been short my whole life" attitude shining through.

 

5'10/11 is pretty tall dude, I'm 6'1" and I'm one of the tallest people I know, just because you aren't NBA material doesn't mean you're short. There is a chance you could have been a lot shorter, but not a huge chance that you'd have been much taller.

 

i used to 5'11", but pregnancy compressed my back and i lost an inch. i'm extremely upset about it...
