    For those who actually care:
    (and there are not many.)

I'm currently making some code changes and additions to ScriptEd Beta 2, and hope to get a patch done soon. (Probably later tonight)
I'll upload it to ModWorld when it's ready.
(a full archive with all the necessary files)
I'll remove the old Beta 2 also..

Here's a list of stuff I've done for it:

-Arcanum installation path will be retrieved from registry from now on, so you won't need to worry about that. (thanks to D Gale <dgale@hotmail.com> for suggesting this)
So when you run ScriptEd for the first time (no config is present), you can press OK, and configure the program later if you like.

-configuration file moved from windows directory to the directory ScriptEd is being run from (file renamed to ScriptEd.ini)

-unless you select a module, you're working in "Override mode", this means all the scripts will go into arcanumdatascr and dialogue into arcanumdatadlg (if you're fiddling around with the main module files)
non-existent dialogue files are retrieved from arcanum3.dat (or if there's a patched version of the DLG file, it will be taken from arcanum4.dat)

    -command insertion menus changed, because
the old ones were painfully slow.
they are in the Script menu now =)

-opcodes are now alphabetically sorted in the listboxes

-added script attachment points to reference sheet data (by request from ChrisBeddoes, thanks, man, almost forgot the most important...)

    NOTE:

I'm not sure if I could implement support f or working with compressed modules, because I don't know the DAT format well enough to create routines for dat file creation, and I don't like to use an external program like DBMAKER for this either...
So let me know how I should handle this.. I can't think of a way right now. Currently it'll uncompress the files to their respective subdirectories and leave them there when exiting (if that's ok..) You should first create the dir with the name of the compressed DAT (without the extension of course) If this sucks, I can change it, but I can't be making changes all the time as I've got work to be done in the 'Killer Inside' mod.
You can also switch to the older WorldEd 1.0.7.0 (I like it much better than the new one, many others do as well) so you'll work with the mods uncompressed... whatever..

    That's all for now.
Thanks to everyone for your input.

(Creating this patch cost me another day from modmaking.)
