Hot damn! You too, Xiao? I knew DF lacked good taste, but you? Can't you see that so much good stuff can be drawn from those books? Places, characters, philosophical ideas, items, settings... you name it! You don't have to like the plot, but at least admit that the universe he's created around it is useful.

 

I will admit that there were maybe two paragraphs that sparked my imagination, but then I doscovered the epic awesome that is China Mieville's 'Perdido Street Station'. If you haven't read it, track it down and read it NOW. It's very, very cool.

On a loosly related note,if Dragon Age is bad because of consessions made to allow it to work on consoles, I will be irked. "Activate Plan B" irked.

 

Jeez, that is pretty irked.

My PS3-owning friend and myself were 'Activate The Death Ray!' irked at the concessions made to Folklore's controls to let it work on the Xbox. Fuck the box.
