I fully endorse letting Arthgon test the registration system by deleting his account.

Oops...that sentence should not be there, I must have forgot to remove that sentence yesterday (That's what you get, when you have too many things to do.). Now it is gone.
I do have a technical question now: is it difficult to learn Phpbb? Do you have to learn it on school, or just by looking it up on the internet?

Your question does not qualify as technical. Please visit here and here. Have nice day.

Alternatively, you could always just go here.

I have this irresistable urge to say "Please edit your post without posting twice"

Luckily, I know better than to say it outloud to an admin, eh? :)

P.S. So, new members have to click the link at the bottom to receive posting privilages?

It's not my fault nobody replied in nine hours.

They have to click the link at the bottom to activate their accounts. Basically if they don't click the link they'll never be able to log in.

Well, the system isn't quite done yet. I'm not really sure about the whole thing actually.

I'd say go for it, Mr Blue Monkey, sir. We all expect newbz to read the FAQ as soon as possible anyway, so what could be better than having this? With this baby working, a newcomer will know what's going on here from the very beginning and will have no excuses for acting stupid even in his first post.

I'm afraid they'll be scared away by the wall of text. I believe I may have found* a better solution. Let me know what you think.

*I'm sure it was suggested by someone at some point.

    Woohoo! A supersticky!

    Indeed it was.

It's great. But how about keeping the supersticky and still having this functional, but replacing the wall of text with something like:

I have made another account* (This One) to see if this thing is working, but I have noticed that there are no differences. (Or perhaps I have overlooked them.) Okay, I noticed this thing as well:

The question that you have to answer about Arcanum is too easy, because they can see and find the answer without difficulty.

I know that I am a bit cynic, but shall the new members really go and look at the super sticky that are now in any thread?

    *I am Arthgon

Arthgon, there is no change in the sign-up process, but the rules should be more visible now.

    Muro, don't impersonate Arthgon.

I just couldn't resist it. The temptation was too great to overcome.

That thread related question is supposed to be a bot filter, so its very point is to be easy yet require minimal directed effort.

The supersticky and the rules in the header are surely a good thing and they should stay there, yet I'm sure that as long as we don't shovel the rules in the newcomers' faces in the registration process, they will break them and argue that they weren't visible enough.
