I voted "I love the colors". I really like the subSilver theme. But it's default, so it must go, right? Can't have The House of Lords (© Terra Arcanum, 2002) lookin' like everyone and their mother's phpBB.
Subject? I agree with Milo. (And no, not with his "that was me up there" comment but rather the other one.) All the new features are f**king excellent!!! All we need now is the good ol' T-A colour scheme back (if possible). Or at least, one that closely represents it. Addendum: Okay, found the option for the colour scheme. But just 2 things. 1: The font is small. Too small. I liked the old, bigger font size. I'm not blind, but gee.... I like things to be readable without eye strain. 2: Smilies on the left? Doesn't that slow loading time? I';d prefer they were put back into their "Click here for smilies" option, rather than wasting my time loading when I don't want them. Addendum 2: And WTF happened to the ranks???
I agree with Milo, too. It was him him up there. If TA was default, anyone who wanted subSilver could get it by logging in. I like the new semi-richedit text area. Much easier for users of BBCode. I miss our old smilies, though :cry:

I like the layout/colors I'm sort of new here, but I do like the way the forum is layed out. The colors don't hurt my eyes like some other forum I've been to, and the alternating burgundy/black between messages makes it really easy to see where one post ends and the other starts. I also like this untrained/journeyman/expert etc. rank system. I've never seen it before (Not a HUGE forum person usually) and I think it makes it just a little more fun to come here, read messages, and post your own. I think i'll be coming back here plenty. The Windmills moniker Not directly. I heard that song AFTER I had the nickname, but I do agree that I like it too. The name came from my love of the book "Don Quixote" ... and the philosophy behind it (Striving towards the ideal, never achieving it, but trying nonetheless) Around that same time (I was about 13-14 when I first read the book) I became a huge fan of the band "Toad The Wet Sprocket." When I was 16, Toad came out with a song on their Dulcinea album called "Windmills." by then everyone had been calling me by that name both online and off. When I first heard the new Toad song, the lyrics were eerily close to my personal philosophy and life. From then on the name REALLY stuck. It was almost...fate. Heh. 2 years ago I saw Man of La Mancha performed. LOVED it. The theme keeps re-inforcing itself. :wink: Anyway, so there's the story. - Windmills
