Just to be clear, something with mass can't speed up past the speed of light; it would require infinite energy to move an infinite mass; but something which is already traveling faster than lightspeed is not an impossible consequence of relativity (or I don't think so, at least).

It has been argued that the so called Dark Energy travels faster than the speed of light, since the universe isn't entirely lit science came with the theory that the universe expands faster than light travels and therefore there must exist something that travels faster than the speed of light.

Might be wrong though, read about it a few years back.

EDIT: had written Dark matter instead of Dark energy :S

Light may be fast, but Darkness was always there first, awaiting it.

So I can say I'm god in that everything is god, but I can't say I'm god because I possess a mortal consciousness? I think god acts through many people at once, so that no one person is tantamount to god. There are pieces of him all over the place, and I admit it's strange of me to call god "him". I'm not even a religious person. It's just that I have these revelations of consciousness where I discover things about my life, as in the subconscious reason behind my actions, as well as things about the world and the purpose of it all...and this past summer, with a friend of mine watching, I shaped the clouds with my subconscious mind. I am not directly in control of things on this earth, my subconscious is. My friend and I were watching the clouds, finding shapes in them, and one of the clouds looked like a poodle. Slowly as he described this poodle, sitting atop the whale, as I visualized it the cloud became more and more like a poodle which was sitting atop a whale, with a bone in its mouth. Then I started thinking about water and the clouds turned into a still image of waves on the surface of a lake. Then, as the clouds passed the moon, they disappeared in the middle, as if the moon was a massive eraser. It was just as though I was erasing the clouds with my wacom tablet. Of course, I and my friend were both high at the time, so take from this what you will. But as I became less high, the clouds less and less did what I asked of them, until they became normal clouds again by 3 AM. Then, I start being attacked by some dark entity around my birthday, particularly when I'm high, and I realized I'm abusing this gift of nature, that I need to moderate my use, or stop it completely to keep the darkness away, because my power hasn't matured yet.
I read the apocrypha, read about Jesus as a child, and he killed two children; one disrupted his playing with water and he made the boy wither away into old age. The other bumped into him as he ran down the street, and he simply killed him in his tracks. Then, he cursed Nazareth with blindness for not having faith in him. It also says he befriended dragons...
He was cruel as a child; he was fully realized at birth and being a man with power, early on he abused it. Since I'm only slightly aware now, and I'm 24 years old, I'm thinking I'll only have the power to change this world when I'm in my 30's, but I won't be the only one. Since I only remember this life, I will want to enjoy it before my work starts. I was told that to mature my power, I must marry and have children. The world isn't going to end, not on my watch. I want to prolong existence and get everyone on earth saved. *sigh*.
One of the things I discovered was that if you stop a beam of light, it will become matter. A particle/antiparticle pair from each photon. The mass of the particle depends on the energy within the photon. Shortly after I realized this I forgot how to do it...but I looked up "stopping a photon" and I was right. They've done it by passing photons through bose-einstein condensates.

I know it sounds crazy, because it is. I'm not asking anyone to believe me, I'm looking for help. I can't find it anywhere. Imagine what "I think I'm god" returns in a google search. I see myself falling farther down his hole created by my addiction to getting high, but it's the only thing I really see giving my life any purpose. I just want to have purpose outside of my delusions...
But really, I figured out how to turn matter into light and vice versa, then quickly lost it but remembered the end result. I was stunned when I did the google search.

But you just said your subconscious is god, not you. Isn't 'it' different from 'you'?

I think the problem with communicating this sort of thing lies in semantics. There isn't really a vocabulary to describe mystic union that isn't also crazy talk.

With a working vocabulary, you can make fine distinctions and clarify exactly what it is you're experiencing. Better yet, you can relate and compare your experiences with others.

For example, instead of saying "I'm God." You can instead say, "I have God inside me," and a lot of mainstream folk would accept the experience as real. Or you could say, "my higher self is becoming fully realised in this dimension" and a lot of other (less mainstream) folk will 'dig' what you're saying.

You could say "I'm now a level 3 antichrist with maximum telekinesis and prescience" but that hardly clarifies anything.

I would describe your experiences in terms of chakras, that is, the state of your nervous-system. Whatever else is happening, your nervous system is behaving in such a way that you experience something which is real to you.
