need help with some editor

Hi guys, im new of the forum but not of the game ^^ (but im for the new patchs =) )...

Straight to the point : I've just installed the module called A:WiP and i found out that arceditor for the game save doesn't help anymore..there come my question: are there any method to edit your saves without archeditor?

Do you think is better staying in normal arcanum patching the game with 1.7.4 then unofficial or to play in A:WiP module?

Now, you should be able to use the editor with my hack because I regularly do without any hassles. Of course, it won't list the new followers I created.

The first question that comes to my mind is did the editor work alright before you added A:WIP?
Also - you're not trying to use a regular Arcanum save with A:WIP are you?

Secondly, it's become common to recommend playing vanilla Arcanum with the 1.0.7.4 patch, then with the UAP, and finally A:WIP to appreciate the full range of bug-fixes and new content, but since you've already got my hack installed, I'd say keep going and enjoy the adventures!

 

Answering to minous : just to get enough charisma because i missed alot of point there and im a little pissed off to start again to make a new char....<,<u> uap ( ? ) -> a:wip ? And if i follow that, will arceditor work?

Or what should i do?

Thanks for your answer . Now i try to explain better my moves :

1- installed arcanum .
2- applied the 1.0.7.4 patch then started a new story with my char ( now the arceditor worked )
3- installed A:WiP and started a new game because old save doesn't work there ( now arceditor don't seems to work properly ).

So, what do you think is the best way? uninstall and applying 1.0.7.4 -> uap ( uap standing for? ) -> a:wip. Or what else?
And if i follow what you said, will arceditor work?

Ah, it sounds as if you have quite a developed character. Anywhere before the completion of events in Tarant and I'd simply have advised a new character. Sadly, we're not all too well-up on the technical front.

What actually happens when you try to use the editor?

 

it seems that arceditor crash and i must re-open it...but if i try again nothing happen =/ , same as before it freeze and crash..

 

Have you tried creating another save and seeing if the same happens when you attempt to edit that?
Also, it may be worth re-downloading the editor and checking that too.

 

This is a problem I hadn't heard of before. Beyond what Minuos suggested, I'm at a complete loss to advise you on this.

Also, because the UAP and A:WIP won't work together as complete units, you'd need to uninstall my hack - or just rename the current install and load a fresh copy of the game - to use the UAP.
