Thanks, and good to know. If that wasn’t the case I would stop right now because it’s too boring to use that many miscellaneous skills.
I just hope that my FPS skills are enough to handle this game.

Well, you can always set the "Always use best attack" option to help you out in that department.

Fuck that! One of my characters thrusts with an axe and still beats the enemys.

Axes suck for thrusting. You gotta chop!

As for the miscellaneous skill stuff, I'm not entirely sure what you are talking about. I've started a new character, but realised a little late that he's not getting any agility modifiers, which is kind of bad...all his skills rely on speed, willpower, strength and endurance mainly. Still, he isn't bad...just wished spears were a little more accurate I guess.

What I mean is that to get the multiplier you have to have increased any skill involving the said attribute by some points (10 to get the multiplier 5). But as you level 10 points in your chosen skills you level. So the only way to have a good multiplier in the attributes when you level up is to have developed the miscellaneous skills, ie the skills you don’t give a damn and ignored. If you only use the skills you have chosen you will always get awful attributes multipliers at level ups.

No. You may level up 30skill points in you major/minor skills and you won't lose the levels. When you sleep you'll see that if you sleep again you'll level up again. And again... (that is if you increased 30skill points in major/minor)

Well, you should also bear in mind that the multiplier is calculated from levels gained during a level. This means that getting 30 skill levels before you next level may well give you some *4 or *5 multipliers when you first rest to go up a level, but if you then rest again immediately to go up another level, you wil get all *1 multipliers.

All of this really isn't worth the work to understand it. Use your skills, major and minor as much as is appropriate and level when you are able. You'll get *2 multipliers in your most useful stats, maybe the occasional *3, and you'll not find you character struggling.

Thanks; I will remember that. Your response made me chill out a bit; I will play and mind the important stuff, ie the story. :D
But I still think the leveling mechanics in this game is silly.

    I know that S_F.
How do you think I reached all stats (except luck) 100 at level 30 (guess I was bored)

Does anyone know what happens if you max out your stats with level still left? What I mean is, can you still level up?

Don't know but I didn't see anyone complaining about it in the official forums so I guess it's taken care off.

Once you get all your major and minor skills to 100, that's all the levelling you're going to be doing. You can still improve your misc skills, but you can't level. It's gotta suck if you only need one more increase to get a level :).
