http://www.nanowrimo.org mathboy had me sign up. If I got it right, the target is to write a 50,000 word novel in a month. I thought that since a lot of us are involved in Cyber Nations, well, a lot of us could be involved in this as well. I'm writing in Swedish, meaning only about half of our active members will get it, but whatever. While I'm at it; mathboy, how the hell do you upload your novel to the site? I can't get it to work. Also, upload an excerpt! I want to read, dangit! EDIT: Forget it, think I figured it out. I still think you should upload an exceprt, however. Anyway, click here for my profile.
You signed up! I thought you had forgot, and then given it up. My novel isn't that great yet, I can't seem to get it to work really, but once I'm happy with it, I'll put up an excerpt. And I hope you remember that you need to write about 2000 words a day, because it's not funny to have the last couple of days left and need to write the 10 000 you miss. The rest of you, hurry up and sign up and start writing on the 1 November (if today haven't started yet in your backwards countries).
And here I thought the 287 words I've done so far was an accomplishment. Oh well, I guess it will get easier as I go by (coming to think of it, it's not a decent fantasy/sci fi story without a proper prologue, now is it... see ya!)
Ugh, I was just about to start writing again, and opened My Documents where I stored the soon to be novel, and what happens? For some reason the My Documents folder felt it was a good idea to behave like a picture folder, with a big window that shows the picture directly. Problem was that the first picture I had in there was one of Christer Petterson posing naked with a bear-skin. It caused explorer to crash twice. But my novel seems to be OK anyway.

Good to have in handy if you really have to stay awake. Unless your body falls asleep in self-defense, that is.
