n00b question: Gypsy Blood Curse

Is there a way to dispel this curse? Both Madame Toussade and that other woman that offers you the Crystal Ball quest are dead.

I looked at the FAQ and it basically tells you not to go and curse yourself. I was just wondering if there's some way in Arcanum to get rid of curses once you get them, perhaps by counteracting it at a shrine?

 

Curses cast on you by gods are removable. Gypsy blood curse and Stringy Pete's curse are permanent. Consider it to be a price you pay for being deliberately evil.

Remember, save early & often. Having many named saves is a good thing. They can be easily pruned when unneeded.

I'm not a COMPLETE n00b to Arcanum, although I've only finished it once, hence I haven't explored all the possibilities that many of you veterans have. Actually, how many times on average have Arcanum players actually finished Arcanum?

 

3 times good, but I haven't made it through evil yet.
I was most of the way through with a very evil half-ogre who I had start with strength of 20, Start with that. It was very interesting in dialogue, but hard to get quests. However, I found out that I could not do evil due to the fact that the bad people were not even willing to talk to me, because I had 0 brain cells. It sucked.

 

I don't know if there ia an avarage Arcanum player. My own play style is to have a massive number of games all at once, some here, some there. I have about 18 active games & more that I get back to every now & then scattered among three machines. All the way to the end? Two. And another one who has been to the Void, but I will replay the end game with her a few more times before I close that game out. So three I guess.
