my party!

ive recently discovered the wonderes of dominate will.

if you dominate will, then reflection shield, then cancel the dominate will, then cancel the reflection shielf ye have got yourself a follower forever. ive been creatively making a party using masters and unlikely candidates. my party so far

I don't know if it's possible, but you could try grabbing Wrath in Qintarra. He would be fun to have around if you grabbed Jormund as well.

 

How did you manage to figure this out?

 

Someone (perhaps Shadygrove) figured this out and there have been all sorts of discussions here and at other forums. If you go to the official Arcanum site, you'll see quite a few involving vorpal sheep.

 

Wrath is a force mage, & probably has enough WP to resist, as does the force mage in the sewer. I have a party with Lianna delPar, the mage from T'sen-Ang, Tollo Underhill, & a few others.

Garic Stout is a flaming asshole & deserves to die slowly by Baneful Guantlets.

i tried alexander the acolyte loads of times because he looks pretty cool but he has high wp, anyone know how to get him i tried stun , weaken, and many other things, fate points dont work either.

also stringy pete would be cool but you cant cast dominate will on him, anybody know a way i can get him?

 

HMM. if you have that many followers wouldnt your XP suffer?? i heard that your followers get XP for hitting enemies and you dont

 

i have dx 21 so i usually get the first few hit anyway, enough to take out quite a few enemies to say im melee master with an arcane great sword

 

Mental spells are resisted by WP. There are a number of magic users that you cannot acquire that way due to WP = 20 or 21.

I do believe that technicly the undead have no mind to mess with. Once he is dead, try a scroll of Create Undead. Quench Life has no effect on the undead either. A friend was running one of my PCs through the Stringy Pete battle. Not being familiar with the Black Necro school, she kept wondering why this one spell had no effect. :lol:

 

:lol: i would expect sanctuary would have an effect on that battle but it doesn't :x

There seems to be a major difference between the avarage undead & pete & crew. Curse effect?

You get points from your followers but only about 10% of points that you would get if you did the hitting.

I've done it both ways now and I think I kike it better with more members. I just travel the wastlands with turnbased off and let then go after the baddies when I run into them.

If you level up toooo quickly, the game gets too easy, as if it isn't already.....hehehehe

actually i hardly ever get to level 50, i think its too easy if i do, like i said in another topic ive finished the gsme at 24 before.

i think the best of my followers are

Drog blacktooth (although he wont talk to me or wait so i have to kill him and ressurect him if i need him to wait)
Ogdin Big Fist, he is amazing!.
