Anywho - On a somwhat more "Site" related topic, I noticed the other day on the Forum Index page at the bottom in the Who's Online section that: That wasn't even a year ago yet. A Tuesday afternoon of all times. It's not like it was a weekend or anything. I wonder what the big occasion was?
I didn't even catch that...the last time I saw it the record was 43 or 44. 169 registered users all in one day?!
I'm at a loss for what happened as well. One would expect numbers like that from the ancient times when the forum was fresh and new, not in these days when it's like a wizened old man sucking on his last tooth. Did Bunny show us something interesting that day?
Perhaps the A:WIP release a couple weeks earlier was a contributing factor? I can't recall clearly if there was anything major going on. Anyone getting new avatars, or a flame-war?
By not making such a bigass deal about it. You can't just force the new-and-improved you on us and expect us to accept it unconditionally.
So I just have to show the new-and-improved me, and stop nagging about it? Or do you have a better idea?
Well, what can we say? If you don't get it, you don't get it. And if you get it, you don't talk about it.
I have a much better idea. Stop saying how much you'll improve and actually improve. Don't say you've been improving. And, for the love of god, don't complain when people berate your poor grammar. Especially if Wobbler is the one insulting you. Arthgon, all you've been doing since you came here is say "I'm going to do better, I promise." Don't affirm it, CONFIRM IT! I don't want to read that quoted sentence every other time you post. Or any sentence similar to it, i.e. anything regarding similar personal improvements. I'm pretty sure it's why you can't seem to shake that super special avvie you're toting...unless you actually like being a little fapping stick figure.
That could be it actually. It could very well have gained fame at the Codex at that time, which would explain why we got so many hits that day.
That could be a really good reason. I just didn't know we had that many active members at that time, or any time while I've been here.
Leechers, then? That kinda sucks, but it also means a lot of people got your mod and could come back here if they get lost, like a bunch of the new guys who popped up.
It's a choice of the lesser evil, him or a bunch of trolls. I truly dislike trolls, but I can see now that this guy is awful.
Our trolls come and go, but Arthgon never leaves. He's not so bad, really. Or maybe he is. I'm not sure it bothers me any more.
I found this out today: Actually, he did copy my old style of writing! Even my hasty* mistakes are the same! Maybe he just wants to be interesting. *I was then in a bit hurry, so that's why it was messed up.
