Another question, assuming you did have the mutant power of your choice, what would you do with it? Would you become some kind of super-hero/villian, or just use it for fun and profit?

I'd probably use mine to take some breaks from life. Eventually I immagine at some point that I'd lose the ability to distinguish between the things I'd immagined into reality and the things that were already there. Basically, I'd lose my mind.

I'd take over the world, just to prove I could and then I'd probably get bored with it, liberate the world and start over.

Oh, I'm sure we could work out a schedule so that you could dominate the world while I'm bored with it and vice versa.

Telekenesis, of course. There are no stronger force than telekenesis, when you're good at it. You can effect sound, light, gravitation and particles.
Regeneration? It's hard to gerenerate when you're disintegrated.
Flying? Yes, you could do that with telekenesis as well; ans prevent others from doing so at the same time.
Immolating people far away? ... Yes...

Anything can be done with telekenesis. And who can prove that it would take such a though mind to controll or use it? Just use your imagination, I'd say.

I've changed my mind, I'd like the ability to manipulate metal at will, like Magneto. Then I could still fly, but could give Vorak and Dark Elf a run for their money for world dominion. Better yet, I'll just lead popular revolutions against their tyranical regimes.

In theory a telepath could stop someone who was telekinetic, in theory anyway.

That would depend on how strong the telepath was, the willpower of the telekinetic, and the question of whether any objects, like cars or trees, were flying through the air at the telepath....

    Like I said, in theory.

Short of being able to either warp reality itself or stop time you couldn't really stop a telekinetic.

    Bzzzt! El-WRONGO!

What about the power to make yourself completely undetectable by any means? No Telekinetic can frag what he doesn't know is there...

But if they randomly started flinging objects around, there is a chance, however slight, that they will hit you.

Basically its like a telepath beating a telekinetic, yeah it COULD happen, but it probably won't.

One superpower, eh? Well then I would choose the power to save and load my life when and where I want to (plus, when I die a pervious save get's loaded). Imagine it! I could save my life, go on a killing spree, rape young women, decapitate pets and when the cops are ready to take me, I'd load my save and nothing would have happened. Awesome. I would so sexually harass women with a power like that. I'd be a perverted supervillain. Har har har!

But no one would know about it. Whats the point in evil without infamy?

If you want to harrass women, just be invisble.
If you can save and reload you life, you could be the worlds best stock-broker, make a zillion dollars, and then the women would be harrassing you! A much better option, rather than being the wierd leering guy who knows more than he should.

The thing about being a strong telekinetic is that you can warp reality in any way you choose to. For example, you can reload reality so that all possible enemies dissapear without ever having existed.

    Can I change my answer?

I've been playing a different character in Wild Cards the last week, because Wildcat got fragged by an overly religious supervillain. Her name is Mellisa 'Sneakthief' Mori, and her ability is to summon up any small item she can envision. And the best part is, she pinches them from different realities, so technically it isn't stealing.

I LIKE that power. I hereby demand the power to 'snatch' items from other realities!

What would you do with the trans-dimensional sticky finger? It seems like a good way to make a quick buck at the pawn-shop, but does it have any other uses?

    One word: Weaponry.

Addendum to the one word: Any weaponry that she could envision and hold in one hand. That's anything from a wee dagger to a very powerful pistol of even a smallish rifle.

Also, a list of the non-sold things she summoned last week: Lockpicks, binoculars, batteries, a textbook on Magick (which she couldn't read, but the mage could), and the keys to a townhouse.

You'd be amazed at how many useful things you can hold in one hand...

What if you can hold a small compact car with one hand?

Well I guess you could bring a small compact car from one of those other dimensions and use that as a weapon.
Wow, so many of you seem to be doubting the usefulness of super-human regeneration.
With that skill, you could see instantaneous results from any work out. If you lost a limb, all you would need to do would be to either grab the old limb and put it back in place, or just grow a new one. Also, you'd never really age. Although, I'm quite simple in my desires, so maybe I'm one of the few who can really appreciate it. You can keep your trans-dimensional filching, your "saving and reloading", and your telekinesis.
