Last time I played multiplayer with my brother (With our computers hooked together) we kept running into problems. First off, there was no save in multiplayer and whoever was the server running the game would crash 10-30 minutes into the session. Has this been fixed? I checked out Arcanum's website and the patch up there, although it says it fixs major problems nothing with multiplayer is listed. Or is there some other reason that this is happening?

Any and all help would be grand as it would be cool to play some quests with friends and family.

    Thanks.

Multiplayer is screwed. Always has been. Always will be. Sorry.

Multiplayer isn't too bad with LAN, but sometimes it can get really annoying. It is too slow to go worldwide, though.

Really? My brother and I had our computers hooked up over an ethernet and whoever was the server would crash 10-30 minutes in. Plus the no saving was a bugger as well. Any ideas why you don't crash? (I'm guessing since you said it works alright it doesn't crash for you)

    Thanks.

While I don't play multi player, here some things that may help.

Patch. If you haven't, download the patch & install it on both machines.

Close down uneeded background programs. To show what is currently running on your machines, press Ctrl - Alt - Delete. to play solo you only need Explorer & systray. To play linked, you will need your networking programs running as well.

Hope this helps. I'm about to set up a LAN & try multiplayer myself.
