Yes they would. Just let Virgil intimidate him into leaving.

Akhem, akhem. We're talking about the weakest solo character, aren't we?

He's talking about the bare minimum, i.e. how weak you can get and still finish the game.

With the invisibility bug and the fate point bug, it might be easy.

Well even without bug development, it's still possible to finish the game with actually every character. It may just be extremely annoying. Running away from battles, making plot to continue step by step and such. There no existing a mark between "Arcanum being very hard because my character toitally sucks" and "Arcanum being impossible to finish".

You can get out of most random encounters with Charm Beast. I tried being a pacifist so it is possible to avoid fights.

    That would be quite amazing...

Also, since I can't recall it, would someone refresh me as to the "charm beast" ?

It's the first spell of the nature college. Any nearby non-magickal creature which fails its save will become passive. (Examples of magickal and thus immune creatures are wererats, ore golems, and those blue-green monkey things).

The effect is permanent unless (a) someone attacks the creature or (b) a nearby non-charmed creature attacks your party.

It's a fantastic spell for ducking nasty wolf packs and spider nests!

Half Ogre Thief. Also played a drunken Gnome Archer with nature magic that was a real lol situation. Most fun was a naked Half Ogre with no weapons and a very short temper Gnome punting at its finest.
