First, how do I read the magizines. I aquired one & can't figure that one out.

Second, if iguana skins are worth cash, & I can kill them & loot the corpse, where are the fripping skins?

By "magazines" do you mean manuals? Such as electricity, science, guns/ammo, first aid, etc? If that is what your referring to, simply put them in your active inventory and click on them. You will read them and automatically gain a percentage towards the skill the manual is applicable to.

Now here is a question of my own, where the hell is Dogmeat? I've been hearing about this mutt whenever dog from Arcanum is brought up, and I'd like to get him for my party.

Also, what's the highest level you can achieve in FO?

When you go into your inventory right click on an item and hold, a sliding menu comes up, you figure it out from there.

Dogmeat is in Junkyard, as you enter the map where Killian's shop is. (south, near the exit grid.) IIRC.

That would be Junktown. It's best to get him early in the game. Make sure you have a leather jacket on, because otherwise he won't follow you. If you talk around enough, you can figure out what happened...

Stranger came into town with his dog (Dogmeat). He happened to have a liking for leather jackets, so the dog will follow you if you wear one when you first meet him. After that, wear what you want. Anyway, the stranger ran into trouble with Gizmo, who wasted him. Dogmeat becomes a dog without a master.

Or you can feed him some beef(?) jerky or Iguana-on-a-Stick. Right click Dogmeat, hold, and "use" the jerky on him.

Yeup, that's what I meant. Thanks to your post, I finaly got how to use stuff within the inventory screen. If I cannot read a magazine, say 'Cat's Paw' is it because I lack points in the field?

Another question, the dog in FO II, in the first town, who follows you around town after you feed it, but doesn't follow you out of the main town, is not another Dogmeat is he? Is there a dog follower in FO II?

No, you can't read the Cat's Paw because it's filthy porn, you dirty dirty boy. Or shit, maybe you can only read it if you're in a bathroom or something. That sounds like something Fallout would do. I just found out you can use the Push command on Brahmin in Fallout 2 to tip them over, so who knows?

That dog in the first town is just there to drop a key. That's it. Unless you mean the one in Arroyo that follows you around while you're in the hunting grounds. Either way, neither one is a permanent follower.

There are something like 3 or 4 other dogs that you can recruit during the game.

Apparently if you collect 10 and take them to the Cat's Paw brothel in New Reno you get an Energy Weapons manual from Miss Kitty. I also think you have to notice something about the books first though. Haven't done it myself, so I can't confirm this.

More specifically, you get Cat's Paw issue #10 which has a nifty article in it about energy weapons. (+10%)

I'll assume you're talking about Geckos? I've yet to see an iguana in Fallout.

Firstly I think that you can only skin geckos in Fallout 2. Secondly, in order to do so you need to get the special perk called Gecko Skinner, or something like that.

You get the perk by rescuing a trapper called Smiley, who teaches it to you as a thankyou. The quest can be obtained from his girlfriend in the bar in Klamath (first building just above the entrance), the first real town you come to.

Alos, please not that you can go back to where you rescued Smiley once you get your first electronic lockpick. You repair the generator and then use the lockpick on the elevator. Inside there is a robot which can be a pain in the ass to defeat at low levels, but if you get there early then you get access to weapons normally reserved for the end of the game, really early on. :)

The dude you can get the key off in Klamath where the rats are can also teach you...although it can be pretty hard to convince him, and doesn't always appear to work.
