    Yea, I need to wash it, then ship it off to a detail shop. :(

    So you'll be needing the name of a "happy ending" car wash, then?

    No. I'm going to wash it myself. It's just that detail shops are expensive.

    That's because you know what your car likes.

    I do. I know it from top to bottom, inside and out, back to front. I know where needs a gentle wash rag and what needs the scrub brush. :)

    You probably wash some longer at some of its "certain" places. :D

    My thoughts exactly.

    New topic:

    //begin snivel-mode//

    Internet service on the outskirts of a small town in a winding river valley:

    1) 100 mbps wireless service is available - except -
    When the terrain creates three dead zones around the area.
    Of course I had to move into one!

    2) 200+ mbps cable TV internet service is available - except -
    The cable lines on the poles and running up to my house is leftover from a local company that went out of business in the '90s. The local cable monopoly "can't" use the existing lines but would be willing to run a new service to my residence - all the way from the main road to my home - at my expense, of course!

    3) 50 kbps telephone DSL is available - except -
    The old phone lines here in town are over-loaded. The DSL at the rental office gets 9-15 kb service before 8:00 am and 3-4 kb for the rest of the day.

    4) Dial-up service is available - except -
    Due to the old phone-lines, you spend more time trying to re-connect than you do on-line.

    I'll be getting DSL in a couple days.....

    //exit snivel-mode//

    BTW: I've found a work-around for wireless service and satellite TV, but it'll take money I don't have at the moment. Something for me to look forward to. :)

    Dude, that bites.

    Nice to see you, though, rroyo.

    And yet you still come here routinely? I'm quite impressed, Rroyo. It sounds like a technological hell.

    Still sounds better than where I grew up.

    You have TV.

    TV is overrated anyway. Ever since I discovered the Internet, I've considered television a mostly redundant medium.

    If I were rroyo though, I'd consider better Internet access a good enough reason to move. Seriously.
