DarkFool: Two bottles are "old man" stuff and the third smells entirely too much like a perfume counter (that strange smell from all the scents mixed together) for me to ever wear it.

And you second suggestion sounds the best. I just realized it's been over thirty years since I last made a potato gun... Thanks!

Yea, those sound like they're perfect to fuel potatoes. :)

30 years, rroyo? I haven't built one or fired one in about one year, and I feel like even that is much too long.
I used a grill lighter as my ignition.

My boyfriend is currently making an oggie gun (potato cannon) out of a large copper pipe he found. Not too sure about the mechanics of it, but several people have said he'd have trouble with the electrics (he found a trigger system a little while ago).

He also once made an oggie gun for flaming golf balls. He shot it down the freeway once (it was closed for the bike hike the following day), and he, his old man and his brother were watching it bounce quite a fair distance.

Golf ball cannons are the most lethal of home-made artillery. That translates directly to awesome.
I've made the classic propellant spud-gun, and a classier pneumatic gun that had interchangeable barrels for more varied ammo. The problem with the pneumatic gun was that despite the fact that we had more than enough air pressure to go super-sonic, the butterfly valve we employed could only open so fast...the end result was our top speed only reached around 500 miles per hour with a potato. Still, it was amazing.
