melee master quest problem

i went the the lair and killed them all but she has full fatigue and full health but shes still lying on the ground sleeping or what ever is this a bug or is there something else im supposed to do.

 

Try talking to her...I've got a couple of screenshots of Virgil lying on the ground and me having a conversation with him...quite funny :smile:.

Also, when she first gets up you have to kill the monsters before they hit her again...

 

Yeah, try talking to her. If that doesn't work, try waiting a few hours or a day. If it still doesn't work, then hopefully you saved your game.

If you did, then reload and try it again.

 

I didnt do that she woke while i was fighting then more came and knocked her down, also how do i force a conversation

 

You'll either have to restart that area, or the game if you didn't save beforehand (which is usually commonsense, it even says in the manual to save often). If she's been knocked down again, restart. Only option.

 

Something similiar happened to me the first time I did that quest. She woke up in the middle of the fight, got attacked, and then sort of froze. If there's a way to snap her out of it, I never figured it out. I just reloaded and did it again.

As for how to "force" a conversation. I'm pretty sure if you walk up to her and slam her in the head with an axe, she'll say something about it. Probably "Blaaargh!!" or "For Christ's sake, somebody help me!!" Not quite what you wanted in terms of conversation, I expect, but at least she's talking... Right?

Besides, how many women named "Druella" are genuinely nice people anyway? Just do her in, and pat yourself on the back for a job well done... probably.

 

i cant just kill her i want to become a melee master,

i dont have the save game i saved over it cause i thought she would wake up after her fatigue restored

 

Well, I don't know what to tell you except be careful about saving over your games in the future.

I guess you could try leaving the grounds, walking around, and then coming back to it. Maybe that'll snap her out of it. Or try a disperse magick scroll on her or something.

 

Kill and resurrect perhaps?

The Pit Master on the Isle of Despair is also a Melee Master.

One of the times I rescued the Dodge Master's fiance', I targeted her with a fatigue restorer.

As per saving games, I try to save them at critical points. Even though it's a pain to go back several saves, at least there is that option.

 

hmm I thought there was only one master of each discipline. can he teach you?

 

is he really a master too? anyway i killed and resurected but she attacks me when she comes back so does anyone have ideas as to how i can get her killed without doing it myself

 

Isle Melee Master

When I first approached the PitMaster on the Isle of Despair, the dialogue option to request Master Melee training was on the screen.

Problem with that Isle is you only get the one shot. If you are short a dex, then phhhht.

After chasing down runaway Kites and such, I gave up on Melee.~

Odi says: "There is no sense in running. You will just die tired."

 

how would i be able to get to the isle after i left the first time

 

there is now way. It's a one time trip only.

 

ok then can you guys think of any way to get her dead without doing it myself.

 

Question would setting up dynamite near her do the trick? also at what point is raven able to join your party

 

raven will join your party after you go back to quintarra from t'sen ang (dark elf city)
