    I unpacked and opened up arcanum.exe and with in the test strings i notices.

    Text strings referenced in Arcanum:.text, item 37
    Address=00401AA2
    Disassembly=MOV DWORD PTR SS:[ESP+94],Arcanum.0059A27C
    Text string=ASCII "Cheater! Here's $1000!"

    Question is does anyone know how to trigger it, as i couldn't see it listed
    anywhere..

    I am under the impression that it is a red herring..

    I'd say it's most likely legacy, developers may have used some cheats for testing purposes and disabled them for the commercial release.

    Interesting find, though.
