Our low budget special effects talk, cut down in its prime!

    I will mourn this day.

That rude interjection stifled my budding movie career, I'm sure.

YOU PEOPLE MAY HAVE ROBBED ME OF AN OSCAR!

Follow up question. Is there an easy way of getting the sum of a given number of 5% increments?

For example, I have $100. I add 5% to the power of 2 to get $110.25 but what I'm after now is the SUM TOTAL of all those 5% increments (including the starting point), which in this case is $315.25:
    Pwr - +5% - Total
    0 - $100.00 - $100.00
    1 - $105.00 - $205.00
    2 - $110.25 - $315.25

Is there a single calculation that'll do that?

    If you change it to:
    1 - $100.00 - $100.00
    2 - $105.00 - $205.00
    3 - $110.25 - $315.25

    Then this works: 100*(1-1.05^x)/(1-1.05).

Well, I was lucky, I "just" have to read Wuthering Heights instead. A tragic love story. Jippi... :/

Well I liked To Kill A Mockingbird.

But that may have been because I just imagined the Peckmeister cracking skulls right the way through.

I liked Love in the Time of Cholera. Well, bits of it. You should read One Hundred Years of Solitude, yep yep.

Wuthering Heights? I think DE might be able to tell you more about it.

I've tried at least 3 times to read that book and couldn't get past the first chapter.

Well, you'll have to trust the movie this time, then.

The movie puts me out too. I just have to suffer a little longer first. :p

And if its a really bad movie it can ruin the book.
