A Mathematics thread is now about why a Norwegian doesn't take an English class.

    The HoL at work.

Isn't it a little bit unnecessary to involve "e" and "ln" in the equation, since they just make the whole thing look cooler, but doesn't have any real function?

And English is fun as long as you don't have to read "Miss Dalloway" or any other old english classics.

Of course it's unnecessary, but that was the whole point.

.. Like Dorian Grey. God knows I hate that author and that man. There cannot be any more boring book. At all.

Anything by Jane Austin, especially Emma. My old English teacher hadn't even read it and he was supposed to teach it.

Oh that's just great. One of my old teachers did something like that, too. It was so cool when she made up a whole chapter in the book, which we hadn't read at that point, just to look smart.

    Those were the days..

In my old school. You know Jenny Hylander? Yeah, she did that. With "Bävertecknet".

And what a movie. It's about a bloody cowboy-brat trying to be like an indian. Talk about poor reading...

I used to make movies with two pals when I was just a little spudulet. Amazing films, actually.

I think Peter Jackson and I are kindred spirits.

I wrote a script once, but when I realised that I had specified to many things that would require CG because I couldn't actually do them in the real world, I gave up.

Who needs CG when you can put toy soldiers in the sandbox and blow them up with fire crackers for your war scenes?

Yeah, "me and my pals" made some short movies. Mostly around 03.00-05.00 in the morning .:/ Our most brilliant work were named "La cama de la moerte", "The bed of Death". Do you really need any more explanation?

Well there was this bit where the champion of hell rose up through the Earth and having a plastic man rise out of sand just doesn't work.
