mastering gambling

does anyone know how you get the dwarf in the gentleman's club to give you master training- i throughthat you'd have to beat him or something, but he just keeps on winning, even if i steal all his money.

 

How about fate points? Haven't tried but it just might work. I win sometimes but the more I dare, the more he wins. :sad:

i heard you gotta have 5000 to play him and you have to play and win till he's outta money. fate point? maybe pickpocket all his cash first? hehe not sure.

I never thought about Pick Pocketing him. Maybe that'll work...

 

he's a right devious wee dwarf. when you go in, to enquire about master training, he's only got 1000 gold- i used fate point to pick pocket- game wouldn't let me pinch it all. but any way, i thought that i would be cunning and quick- save every time i won.

so i had the 5000 starting purse, he had 1000. he's not won once because of my q-saving. i now have 63000, he still has 1000. if i try to play one continuous gamble thread ( bby not exiting so i can q-save, he wins every fecking time) my int is 20. do i need some other skill, or some poitoion to make him stupid. i'm onnly doing this to see if i can win teache's ship, to see if i can get him to take me back to the isle of despair.
any ideas

 

Must try while wearing the two rings of fate which is suppose to increase your luck in gambling.

well i beat him but this is what i did /......

first he doesn't give up if he has no money ...... think about it .... if u raise the stakes to 2000, thats more than he has.....

actually what happens is that u have to beat him a number of times.... say 10 ...... i had 50,000 when i played him and when he forfeited he had 24,000 lol but i won and he trained me .... i think troika set it up that u have to beat him like 10 games, no matter what happens..... also guys .... drink mad int potions, 2 rings of fate ..... i beat him without using fate points
