Is there any way to kill Garrick Stout in the Master of Melee quest without all of Dernholm turning against me?

All of Dernholm turns against you? The worst I've had was a single lingering guard joining in.

I suppose you could Baneful Gauntlet him to death.... Or wait till the coast is clear. And put on a smoking jacket and other similar items afterwards.

I had the problem with all of Dernholm hating me for killing Garrick once. Thats why I wait until late evening, when everyone is tired and sleeping humbly in thier warm, fluffy beds. He'll walk over to the castle doors then, where it will only be him and 1 or 2 other guards, thats when you kill the arrogant goat fucker!!! MAWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After I got my master training and then killed stout, I don't remember everyone upset. Heck, talking to most of them didn't like the guy anyway.

Since curing adkins is a big rep gain and I'm not doing the master melee thing, I leave killing stout until the rep gets below 90, then cure adkins. Back to 100 again!

Also, you can wait till evening and ambush him as he is between the barracks and the castle. If you do it in the right spot, no one will help him.
