i went to the isle of despair and told my people to wait for me while i fought. when i came out of the pits only virgil stayed. sogg and maguns both vanished. i eventually found sogg at the inn where he started but magnus is no where to be found?? have i lost him for good? he was also carrying the statue of kree, is there any chance i could get that back to finish the quest?
There are several ways to gain audience with Thorvald Two Stones. One, you can listen to what Ogdin has to say about his past and convince him that you have no evil motives and he'll hand you the keys. This requires charisma and persuasion. Two, you can use a fate point to successfully pick pocket the key. Three, you can just butcher every convict on the colony, break down the doors, and kill or talk with Thorvald. However that's a bit too bloodthirsty if you're a good aligned character. Well, hope this helps.

welcome to the forum Just a guy! Loo, do you really need this much ettention? Not enough from yer parents maybe? Did a cop beat them to death during pierestroika or something and your alone?
I'd suggest you try to avoid losing your followers in the first place. I realise you might be looking for a different answer, but some o them can be a real pain to find. They generally go back to where you met them unless they tell you something different when you're asking them to wait. So, Magnus might be standing outside the Schuylers (this is just a guess, since I never let him wander too far). I'm really quite surprised you lost them during the pit fight. I'd guess the reason would be: (a) Their reactions to you are relatively low (maybe you've been killing innocents or tattered bowmen recently?) (b) You took a lonnggggggggg time doing the pit fights. In either case, a possible strategy to keep them from wandering would be getting them back into your party between fights. Try this >>> Ask them to wait before the first fight >>> Win first fight >>> Get them back in your party >>> Ask them to wait again >>> Do second fight >>> Repeat until you're the champion :smile: I hope this helps

if you want to keep magnus, don't be evil I would suppose. my first game he ditched me after I was heading out of tarant after kill all those nasty blue dudes in the boil. I was just running then turned around and he was gone. Ive since started a new backstab mage and while my alignment has never been below 17 he has never left my side. I could also be because he had joined me when I went to kill the schylers, so maybe he feels obligated to stick with me, although his reaction is still neutral (57) to me. of course I'm playing as a full elf debutante female and my beauty is like 14, so maybe he's just trying to get laid. on a side note, for those that haven't made a female character, its pretty funny when you take her to madam lil's.
