Lukan and Constable Owens

Ok, about Lukan (after I convinced him I was in the Theives guild, he gave me a key) I then went to Tarant, got Magnus, did a few other quests. I then came back, I was now strong enough and had enough spells to kill that S.O.B. Lukan, I then went to constable Owens to tell him that they were dead, but Constable Owens never asked me about them, or I never get a chance to tell him about me killing Lukan. Why? Is it because I didn't make a promise to constable owens to kill Lukan? I don't think I told Owens anything but I will think about it (killing Lukan) help!!

can you tell me who the hell is lukan ,because i just don't remember.

 

Lukan is the theif who is guarding the bridge over the river that seperates Shrouded Hills from, well, the rest of Arcanum. He is charging people 1000 gold to cross the bridge.

 

Yeah, thats odd that this happened to you. I *persuaded* Lukan to go away, then I went and talked to Owens. He aksed me to get rid of them, which I did. I talked to him again, and he gave me 50 cgold. Whoopee...

 

actually in finishing this quest you really have to choose...

1. trick him into giving to you the key...
2. do his quest...destroy bridge materials
3. or kill him outright...

in order to fulfill COnstable Owen's quest, you need to talk to him, before getting the key from Lukan.

However, you can go for the more optimal approach...you accept Owen's quest to get rid of the theives. You first trick Lukan for the key...(which fulfills the quest) and when they are about to leave, you can attack them, kill them and get a Fate Point :smile:

 

Why don't kill lukan and then take his key...
(you still get everything)
