That is one reason I hate alot of holywood moives as they sersis then to death like all the Firday the 13th moive 14 or more I beleive. I hate the first Batman moive as it didnot have Batman behavor the way he behavor in the comic book. One Batman didnot fire than machine guns of rocket from the Batplane at than cword on the street as too many inorent bystand might be killed. The other Batman moive where worth in my opin.

The first Batman movie I saw was one of those 60's/70's type movies. The bombs were big black round bowling balls with fuses coming out of them, and visual sound effects such as "Pow", "Whammo" and "Bam". It also featured Robin flying a helicopter with Batman on the ladder coming out of the bottom of it, with a shark hanging off his leg, while Robin searched for the shark spray.

 

LOTR was originally written as a single book.

Tom Bombadil seemed really irrelevant - he didn't contribute to the plot in any way. I was expecting him to show up in the later parts of the book but he never did.

It's one of my favourite parts too. Bout the trailer - I'm looking forward to see Legolas dual-wield his knives.

 

Those two other wizards were blue, and they really went to east with Saruman. All wizards in Quenya are: Curumo(Saruman), Aiwendil(Radagast), Olórin(Gandalf), Pallando and Alatar.

I think so. By 3 orcs I think. Wasn't it 76-79? Something like that. Anyway, I sure hope the contest is in the movie. Like I said, the trailer didn't even show a hint of Gimli at all. Hmm..... (*attempts to start a flame rant*) Maybe Gimli isn't even in the next movie?

 

No way! Gimli has to be in the second movie. He is just as important as anyone else. Plus, he most of the first part of the second LOTR book is about Legolas and Gimli talking about and going on walks and doing stuff together.

 

No way!!! Gimli is sooooooo not going to be in the second part!! I take back what I said earlier about Gimli not being in the trailers. He was. However, sadly, it was just a brief second and it showed Legolas killing him. I think Legolas killed him because Gimli wouldn't take a bath with him anymore.¹

Man, I want to see some dwarf-killing action (by that I mean Gimli hacking orcs to bits). Gimli is cool - I admire the way he is dedicated to the mission. The way he immediately tried to destroy the Ring himself at Elrond's house without any hesitation is a significant part of his character.

 

Gimli is on of the coolest characters in the whole movie, but he should have one large cool totaly awsome orcslayer-axe instead of many small ones.
