Oh, I'm sorry, are you Captain Logic Police? So I say things that don't make a lot of sense, does that give you the right to tell me I'm crazy? I'll have you know that before you came onto the forum, I was sane. Therefore, I could argue that your arrival made me crazy. Is it true? Probably not, but I can make an argument based on anything that pops into my head and ultimately blame you for it, as is my wont. I have approximately ten times your post count. I make about 1000 posts per year. That leaves so much crazy on the table I could cater a wedding that serves 300 people a whole plate of insanity. Oh, but what's better than that is this forum can be viewed by anyone, therefore my madness caters to the entire internet! The point is, I'm off kilter, your posts are boring, and you try to oppress me with your "infallible" logic. Guess what, no matter how logical you think you are, there are doubtless some people who think your anal retentiveness makes you crazy.

No, I meant "doubtless," and simply forgot a comma or two. As in, I was referring to myself when I said doubtless.
So I probably should have said, "There are, and I'm doubtless to that effect, people who find your anal retentiveness crazy."
We're ultimately getting to a point where insanity is subjective. You find me crazy. So do others. I say I'm not crazy, but eccentric sans the funds to make my peculiarities acceptable. I have a friend who's a psychologist, and he works in an outpatient clinic to gradually ease prison inmates back into society. He has patients who eat their own poop. Now, that is crazy.

It is senseless, Wayne. The more you strive to bring logic to the world, the more illogical things will become. Order begets chaos. You cannot reduce the chaos, because further attempts to reduce it ultimately bring further chaos. You will inevitably notice more and more "crazy" counter arguments to your logic, and then you will be alone on your pillar of common sense.

Illogic is an underground hip hop artist, and also a term defined by incorrect reasoning. The thing is, according to my opinions, I'm right, so I have logic in my mind, and you think I'm crazy according to your opinions. Can you change my opinion? No. Can I change yours? No. I will remain logical in my own mind, you will remain logical in yours, and ultimately it's up to an outside observer to determine which of us is crazy.

Honestly, I just wanted to say something. I don't really know enough about the subject matter, i.e. brains, minds, choices, determinism, so I just went off on you. No harm done, old chap. I just hope your logic serves you better than it does me. However, with someone stubborn enough (me), it can be nigh impossible to change opinions. I'm really not convinced of much of anything other than my own opinions.

 

As an outside observer, I say neither of you is crazy.

Even the guy who eats his own poop is not crazy, (but probably very, very hungry). A lot of great-apes eat their own faeces. Eww, gross but natural.
