1.) I am well within my rights to ask you to use spelling, grammar, and punctuation. I have been here for much longer than you, I know for a fact that the posters on this site have standards for what they will and will not read. I was polite (ish), as opposed to my normal obsceneties, and believe it or not I was doing it for your benefit as well as my own.

2.) The very fact that you've improved upon said problems merely proves that I was correct to post what I did. Getting all uppity and whiney isn't going to change that. All you've done is rile everybody up quite needlessly.

Extra thing: Muppet? What the fuck man, was that supposed to be an insult or something? Cause you oughta know, I love the Muppets, and Miss Piggy is my role model.

So I got the context slightly wrong. In my defence, it was two in the morning and I'd been awake and functional for 37 hours straight. The general intent of the statement was still correct, even if I messed up the personal pronouns somewhat.

Hell, I make more sense when half-delusional from exhaustion than you do during what is presumably a 'normal' day. That's not a good sign for your mental capacity, oh whiney one. (Then again, apart from bits of that one coherent post, you've done very little to convince me that you have a mental capacity.)

I second the call for the ban hammer. I'm only willing to be reasonable for so long, and this guy is seriously pushing my limits.

At the end of the day, this is an internet forum, it is an INFORMAL place for discussion. This is not my job, and I really don't see why I should take it so seriously, and I don't know why you should, either. My guess would be that you are so emotionally crippled, and inferior to everyone else you know in real life, that you try to come here and feel superior to some of the posters here by insulting them.

And if you think I care about being banned, then you are sorely mistaken.

This is not just "an internet forum", this is Terra-Arcanum, and there is no one that has this has his/hers job (except for the admins/mods)

There are some standards that each and everyone are to keep, like correct grammar and spelling.

And how can you diagnose someone based soley on their posts, while behaving like a moron?

Now you’re acting like a twit. This isn’t our job either, but there are still standards to be kept. That’s why this is a community. You should look it up sometime. This is TERRA-ARCANUM! SPARTA be Damned!

There is a difference between informal and just plain lazy. I expect folks, whether at home or in public, to pick up after themselves, to show some common sense and to at least try to use proper spelling and grammar. It’s not that hard. We’re not expecting business letter perfection or thesis quality to any post, but we do expect some effort in appropriate usage of the written language.

As Arthgon said, Xiao_Caity can take care of herself. We all know that. She’s got a tongue that can clip a hedge and we’ve seen it in action (I haven’t really since I’ve been here, but I have read past posts before I came out of lurk mode, and she’s left some nice topiary behind). She’s been relatively mild to you, although at this point, I don’t know why.
Have you noticed that folks are backing her up and all saying the same thing about the expected quality of the posting here? Have you noticed no one is saying you’re right and we’re wrong? That might be something to think about.

If you put the same effort into your Arcanum mod (per your sig) that you put into your posts, I foresee a bug ridden mess. I don’t expect you to type your posts in a word processor and hit it with spell check like I do, but I do expect you not to post lazily. Sleepily, drunkenly..okay, but not lazy.

That being said, either shape up or smeg off!
