    Hi: I'm looking for a legal way to download the full version of Arcanum. I don't see it on Direct2Drive which is what I usually use. Thanks in advance. I'm happy to pay for it but I want to avoid shipping costs, etc.

    I wouldn't say you have issues, but why would you need 4 copies of the game? I understand having 2, one to play and one to look pretty on a shelf, but 4?

    I wouldn't worry about it.

    Apparently, some individuals have multiple copies of StarCraft, multiple copies of the expansion, multiple copies of WarCraft III, and multiple copies of its expansion, and the same story with Diablo 2.

    Well, I guess with the whole CD-key thing (if anyone here is aware about that) the aditional copies helps them out... but some people just acquired many copies because they kept on losing their products.

    I bought one used from Wolfsbane, and I bought one new.

    Sadly enough, both of them have disappeared.

    I really want another copy.

    Seven? Good grief. It's extremely possible that you own more Arcanums than anyone else in the world, you know.

    I take it that armed guards shoot everyone that so much as looks at the outer wall of the room you keep them in.

    When I read wobblers post, and reflect about how he lost two copies of Arcanum, everything else seems so superfluous.

    To be fair and square, teh copy I have bought from Wolfsbane was halfbroken, and after you installed the game it would work for a few month and then stop working completley. That's why he sold it.


    Now I remember, I think a friend of mine borrow the other copy one or two years ago.

    CD's will work for a helluvalot of time as long as you're careful not to scratch them. Of course, using a no-cd patch like UAP certainly helps, as extensive cd-swapping increases the risk of scratching.

    I think I might try and make my set a round 10.

    I have the cloth map so all I need now is the dungeon of lost souls disc and I'll have the best Arcanum collection on the planet.
