I thought long and hard about Aviation, but it turns out I just like guns and Infantry tactics way too much. So much, in fact, that I sold the Army my soul (gave them three extra years of AD) to guarantee getting Infantry. The fact that I got my first post choice (Germany) was just good luck.
Don't worry about that, I've hung out with enough enlisted and NCOs to know not to be like that. My older brother is a SGT in SF, one of my best friends is a SGT in the Reserves, etc. I plan on letting my PSG teach me everything, because I know I don't know shit. What's your rank, by the way, and are you still in the sandbox? Wasn't sure if those pictures you posted in the photo thread were recent or not. What area are you in right now? My Reserve friend was in Fallujah and Tikrit, and he said it was pretty shitty. He was on the fifty in a Hummer and said he shot more people than he remembers. Even stabbed a haji who tried to climb on top of the truck.

I'm based near Tikrit, but I've been all over northern Iraq: Balad, Mosul, Baghdad, Bayji, Kirkuk, Tal Afar, Taji, Baquba, Hawija, Al Kisek, etc. Of course, I don't spend much time on the ground outside the wire, and so far nobody has been stupid enough to wave an AK at my Blackhawk.

EDIT: Oh, and I'm a Specialist, and yes, I'm still here.

And because people aren't ready for it yet, not that I know whether they ever will be, but because something hasn't worked in the past doesn't mean it'll never work. Which is what I tried to say by comparing it with air planes.

Here is a translation from the RKU theory-guide:

"Lenin studied marxism and succed to conform it to the time and world he lived in. We also must conform what Marx and Lenin wrote to this days conditions".

Blinky: thought I should point out your post was well-written and intelligent. that said, it made my eyes cross, and since i can guaran-damn-tee i'm smarter than Bree, you might want to stop trying before you have an aneurism out of sheer frustration.

Thank you, but that was mostly directed at Frigo. I have to use smaller words with Bree, and give her a cookie every time she says something intelligent.

You don't think you should try and get a more balanced view of the matter through other sources than the propaganda of a communist party?

And what if you can't conform those theories to today's conditions?

You can't just say that it isn't possible, we in the RKU have already done it. Get yourself a copy of Rebell The party's newspaper, or get yourself a copy of RKUs' Principes and thoughts - program. All the answers you seek are in the guide.

The communism could work if the whole world suddenly became communism countries and if people could be happy with what they have...
But that is likley to happen in the next millenium.

Last time I checked, your party didn't wield political power of any sort, so how the hell can you say that you've already conformed your theories to the conditions of today? All you can possibly be sitting on is a thought, you have no experience whatsoever of how your cherished communism would work if implemented full-scale in Sweden.

Looking at other nations that have tried your fancy little experiement, I'd say we have enough empirical evidence to safely assume it would fail.

It is dangerous to think that one can receive all the answers one is looking for from one single source.

Are you serious with this or are you just trolling for the lulz?

I am aware of that the RKUs' principes and thought-program isn't the best source in the world.

And yes, I belive in the communist ideals, I want a "as near as a class-less society" you can get.

If you by "the classless society" mean that people should be treated as equals and have the same rights regardless of political/religious views, gender, race, sexuality etc, I agree. However, I find the notion of complete economic equality totally unfeasible. Heck, I even believe that you, a doctor, should earn more than me, a teacher! All jobs cannot be worth the same paycheck.

True, true. But for an example that I often use. If a man and a woman has the same education, same intelligence and everything, the man will in most cases get a bigger salary, even though it's the same thing they do!

And that is bad, really bad, something must be done about that.

But that has nothing to do with the world not being communist, that has to do with women being more away from work than men (child birth, etc.), sure it's discrimination, but it's not caused by the society not being communist.

I have no idea whether this is true or not, nor whether it matters, because statistics suck and I won't try to find them unless I have to.

I read somewhere a while ago that the difference in pay isn't that big (if even existing) if you consider things like female people being away from work, being sick and stuff. Which obviously should affect their salaries and also consider the fact that female people live a couple of years longer than we do. Since they live longer, they get money, pension, for a longer while which makes the total male and female salary pretty much the same.

Another thing I've noticed in completely objective studies is that female people are stupid. I don't think I've really met a smart one around my age, comparing myself to older people is not possible because they have lived a lot longer and I'm unable to separate experience from intelligence. Also, you could look at the fact that NONE of the 18 people on this list are female http://www.math.uu.se/%7Edag/skolornas/result.html even though about 1/4 of the ones entering the competition were.
