A normal person is someone who's wierdness you aren't yet aware of.

I've seen the same fucking thing in text seven times.
    Altogether, I think it's a reasonable message.
But, the reverse is also true; People who are weird turn out to be the most normal. Why? Because we're all fucked up, and the one person who isn't screwed in the head seems weird because they're not like anyone else.
To be perfectly honest, Bree, you're unique. There are people who are a bit lacking in common sense, and there are people who just can't get something right no matter how hard they try. You, however, take all of what seems bizarre and convoluted to a whole new eschelon of power. You're normal.

Yeah, it's obvious to us, but apparently not to him.

Can we play let's state the scientific?

The process of holding one's breath involves the partial control over the strong smooth muscle tissue in the diaphragm. It is physically impossible to die from holding one's breath, because even if an individual's control over their medulla oblongata was great enough to render them unconscious through voluntary asphyxiation, they would resume normal breathing once they lost consciousness. This assumes that the individual has no confounding medical disorders that repress breathing rates, which might be triggered by prolonged attempts at self-suffocation.

Also, certain medications (such as non-specific beta blockers) can cause respiratory depression that can exacerbate an existing breathing/airway/asthma problem.
