King Praetor's Second Quest

This is my second run through the game.
Before I had and ugly Halfling (CH:4) who was a good thief.
Now I have an agreeable mage-elf who acts more like a thief.

Still...
In neither case I have been able to get the second quest from HM King Praetor.

When I engage him in dialogue, he says :
" ... I may have use for your skills later ..."

Does anyone know how I can get the second quest (which I don't even know what it is)?

Any clues or recommendations?

You can complete it anyway, even though he doesn't offer it to you unless you are expert/master (can't remember) in persuasion.

Just check the T-A quests site for details, but in brief, you have to get the amulet from the princess from the wreck at Razors Point on the south tip of Cumbria near the mountains.

 

That must be it.

I am expert at persuassion now. I'll come back when I become Master.

If you get the quest from him go to Bernard at the dockside (he was in the Gladys' ring quest and talk to him. If you say the right thing he'll mark razors point on the map, when you get there get the amulet from the boat and return to the king. Also the prince of Caladon is upset about her disappearance and he may say something if you show him her amulet (not sure about this).

 

Ya, that is true. Kinda sad, isnt it?
