It's funny because he's a ruthless dictator. And because he looks like a muppet.

The shot of him trying on a hat is funny because the whole room is laughing. The dictator made a joke, everybody laugh.

On a completely unrelated note, it's been raining forever here. Spring and summer have been replaced by Monsoon season.

Why would you even bring up the weather in your area?

I like the images with that one guy who is presenting the factory to him and looks terrified, like "No, seriously, sir, I promise that this place is doing great. The numbers are only a little bit down. Please don't kill me."

For no good reason. But surely I'm not the first or the last human to casually bring up the weather in a general discussion? This particular weather is extreme and unusual. If I offended your sensibilties about forum relevance, then I'm deeply sorry.

    How's the weather over there?

    So you're a troll then?

Sorry, we already have one. Apply elsewhere.

Trolls a-plenty here, and hate-bots ready to pounce, like an over-active immune system reacting to pollen.

It was just casual conversation, dude. Dark Elf starts random threads, and good on him, including one about the weather not long ago. I suppose, from your reaction, that I ought to have grave-dug that one, or else kept my comments about the weather to myself: Heaven forfend that this site might include a non-sequiteur now and again.

As for trolling, I think you need to be vindictive to qualify and, sorry to dissappoint you, but I wish you well. Peace, immune-system, I'm not a pathogen.

Wow. We've really hit a slow spot on the boards if we're arguing over weather.

Spring? Summer? Rain? We're drowning in snow over here.

Kim's elite assassins are a rather quick bunch of fellows, aren't they.

Yes, I know you're all mostly drowning in snow, I looked up the weather for your side of the planet, and particularly for Grakelin's location. I was actually interested in knowing, and it looks miserable enough to explain his touchiness about it. Stay warm everyone.

We're having what I would call a regular winter, yet the alarmists are seeing Ragnarok (screw global warming, apparently we're going to die from permafrost this time around). Me, I'll just chill, in all the meanings of the word.

If they demilitarized some tanks they could plow with them. Or have the military do it with plows on the tanks. Either way you're getting tanks that plow streets.
The latest I read, if we keep our global warming habits, by 2080 will see 120 days over 100 degrees Fahrenheit in areas of the US. But we can't accurately predict weather right now anyway, so I think it doesn't really matter what the experts say.
However, some guy out in california who amassed a fortune in his lifetime is financing a company that will make kite turbines that collect high altitude winds, which contain at 30000 feet about 20 times more energy than winds over the ground. This is energy that will be a fraction as costly as coal, so that's good.

Man, that's cool. The alarmists here are just seeing boring old armageddon. Floods and plagues of locusts, *yawn*.

Yay, weather! Where are you, Yuki, that's also snowing? Japan?
We just had a few days without rain and it was so incredibly, stupidly humid and hot I nearly died walking to the bus stop.
Storming again now, though. Thank goodness.

Well, Southern Sweden, Skåne, is often believed to belong to Sweden but is inhibated by people that pratically speak Danish.
