Maybe, and I'm not sure why it was banned. I would have loved that as a kid. Better than that anime horseshit, at least.
Must be some Christian fanati... I mean conservatives concerned about their children getting ideas. "Damned Human Race" made me laugh, still.
That claymation seemed scarier to me when I was a kid. Or perhaps it's scarier now that I actually understand it?
It's scary because it's true. The voice of the "angel" and its philosophy reminded me of Kerghan. One of the best Claymations ever, especially considering the time it was made in. You can watch the whole flick on YouTube.
Infidel. And another one. All in all this cartoon introduces quite a nice level of quality and creepy. I really like that face-shifting compistion of Satan and the way he presents a thought. Sometimes the children-adressed media provide the most badass shady characters. The overall ambience is similar to the speech of Kerghan, however this Satan is very different in opinions. It seems they both are disgusted when it comes to typical human passions, yet this vision of Satan cares nothing about humans, in contrast to Kerghan, who wanted to redeem them, yet in a way they don't like for they do not understand their position in the universe.
I like the entire Venetian mask concept. It shows its true face yet that itself is nothing but a mask.
The Adventures of Mark Twain, feature length 'claymation,' apparently. Best part happens to be the one which made Floyd start the topic.
