I just started playing this game yesterday and I love it so far. I am a gnome and i want to focus on Tech instead of magik. I just hit lev 5 and i was wondering where i should be putting my points? I have saved up 2 points and there is just too much stuff to choose from. Also, i need to goto Tarak or a city named something like that, to find virgil's friend. I look on the map and i cannot find it. Anyone know where it is or if it's marked on the map? ANY suggestions helpful! Thanks!
welcome welcome to the game/forum talk to everyone in the town, ask rizzaldi (junk dealer about the ring you got.. he'll mark tarant on your map after you complete a quest for him) you can put a point into cha (so you have 9) and get sogg mug mead at the inn to join your party. if you wanna focus on tech... first things first... how do you wanna fight? throwing (stars/knives/explosives) melee (hands or held weapons) bow (arrows... duh) guns (hmm duh) now... melee/guns are obviously the most popular, and most usefull guns : points into guns, dex, perception, and god i just got in a big fight w/ my family so i lost if you where magick or techy, magick... go nature for entange (root so you can shot from afar) and then damage or heal.. your choice techy go gunsmithy and explosives. melee points in dex, str and constitution melee dodge, magic use like earth for str/armor bonuses and white necro line techy use smithy and electric (good armor, dex rings... etc) hmmm im still argueing.. so im totally lost gonna post this and look again. jamie
