Just cause' I'm a techie doesn't mean I'm stronger!

:minigun: It burns my ass that mages get away with a scroll weighing a measely 10 lbs. to revive there party, where as I have to lug around 300 god damn pounds to accomplish the very same! Has anyone found a lighter means to accomplish a techie revival? I would be forever indebted to anyone capable of helping.

300 Stone = 30 Pounds

I do not know of an actual solution to the problem, but I may recommend a course of action (if you are still early in the game):

If you have a follower such as Virgil, you can control how he spends his CPs every time he goes up by one level.

Add all the necessary CP's to his Necromantic School and he (or the follower you choose) will be able to ressurect Characters on the long run.
Also, you have have your followers carry that extra weight for you.

Just an idea ...

Personally, I walk the *fine* line between Tech and Magic. I like the Scrolls better.

According to the Manual, you should be able to go to the Follower's Character Screen and change the AUTO-SCHEME for it.

Or coming to think about it.... does this applies ONLY to characters you create?

It applies only to player characters. You cannot control NPC leveling - they follow their own unique leveling scheme.

It's a good job that Virgil automatically puts points into white necro.

Also, even though you are techie, I thought you could still use scrolls. They won't be anywhere near as effective, or last anywhere near as long, but for ressurection, that shouldn't matter, as long as the recipiant was magickally inclined.

I always seemed to get away with it anyway, but then I never went past +60 Tech alignment.

 

:minigun: I cannot stomach the presence of the freakshow also known as Virgil and I always play a character with a Tech rating of 80+, so I guess I'm shit out of luck. Thank you for the input though Ferret. Just curious are you a sable, albino, or cinnamon?

Get the schemaic from by the submarine and carry a large capacitator and a cure all all the time (it weighs less)

 

:minigun:Great advice AssAssin, but the point of keeping a resurection device is to place it in your followers inventory, so they can bring YOU back, so unless your followers are capable of creating items on their own, in the span of a few seconds, I don't see as to how that is much help. Now you might argue you carry it to bring them back, which is fine, but I personally don't care about them nearly as much as I care about myself.

 

Yeah you're right but your post was about your strength.
If you want to resurect your followers, just loot their corpse!
Oh and remember, you need 5 intelligence to use scrolls so don't give it to sogg.
