Well we will see now wont we.

Computers are getting more advanced every day, and he wants one of ours, You must be kidding. What dose he want it for an antique, well a realy old computer that still works might be worth big money in “his time (Right...)”.

I see the future, my predictions are.
-President Bush will take a piss in the next 10 hours, at least one.
-A men in the next 10 minutes will order a hamburger.
-And one of the members of this sight will meet a person who’s name begins with P.
Yes, I see the future, it is true.

Aries: Paragraphs are not just something other people use.

I also have a foolproof method for travelling forward in time. It's so simple, you'll wonder why you didn't think of it first. Here goes:

    1. Look at the time, and note it.
    2. Step into the nearest cupboard/wardrobe big enough to fit you.
    3. Make appropriate time travel noises.
    4. When you're sick of that, step out of the cupboard/wardrobe.
    5. Look at the time - ye gods, it's later than when you last looked at it!

There are all sorts of interesting theories that we could spout about time travel, relativity and alternate universes, but I think the best way to see whether this John Titor guy is right is to live until 2026 or 2036 or whatever year he claims to come from, and then see whether or not he does it.+

He claims to have come from 2036.

Baal, he had said that he needed the 5100 computer system because it had some kind of special Unix code/Basic/ASP crossover capabilities that aren't found in any other computer ever made.

To Jarinor, you are right. My post format needs some work. To the rest of readers I am sorry if my post seemed like monolith of nonsense and albino midget crap.

I have been thinking that his claims are much like the predictions of the old prophet Nostre Damus.

Yeah but old man Nostre was wrong and this guy's wrong because I can see the future and all I see is a red flag with a star and everyone speaking russian.
Time travel doesn't work, alternate realities don't exist because, theoritcally if one travelled back in time and changed nothing everything would happen exactly as before.

The only type of time-travel that seems even remotely possible is time-veiwing, where one looks into the future, but does not travel there.

NOt everybody can multiply and divide in their heads at the moment because were taught with calculators. They probably learnt to use their heads more than technology.

Anyone ever watched a movie called "The Stupids"? its a comedy about a family of outrageously idiotic people, the father chases after a garbage truck screaming "come back with my garbage!" thinking they were stealing it, later on he goes on a jerry springer style show and sings a sone about how he bacame his own grandpa. Its a good laught.

The idea behind using calculators is that Engineers and Techies wouldn't have to spend more time doing simple aritmethics than doing engineering and making sense of said calculations.
I wish I had a Texas Instruments Voyage...I went on Basic Circuit Analysis. Without an equation-solving calculator I spent half-an-hour in a decimal 4*4 matrix which I probably got wrong.

I just want Mr. Math to shut up. We got to the moon, thats all the god damn math we need, and how many times do we need to do that? Thats what I thought, no way in hell do I need to know any damned calculus thank you very much.

Not that theres really anything wrong with math... Its just one of those philosophical concept things I want to strangle to death. NUMBERS ARE A TOOL OF THE BOURGEOUIXIESSS!

The one thing I’ve wondered about all those time travel movies. if you went back in time, then after a few days went back in time to just before you arived last time, could you see your self arriving back in time and talk to your self?
