I can hear his lines as he's on the cross... "You've bled with Wallace! Now Bleed with ME!"

 

Anyway... I was Roman Catholic for the first 11 or so years of my life, then turned agnostic, then athiest...but I still remember my Christian education, and from what I remember, Pilate was said to have been forced by the crowd to set free Barbarus, Barabba, whatever his name was, instead of Jesus, and I'm pretty sure he told him so.
