I'm thinking of the chemical that makes men sterile, but which doesn't affect women. I believe it is pyridine.

Not as such, no. Just arrogant, argumentative and annoying. Usually male traits when expressed for more than 3 days a month. :p

Snow, I went to the University of Maryland a long time ago, does that help?

Jar, it is my best guess that the Enchalada Earthworm is being an a**hole simply because it is the easy way to boost his post count. Can you reset his count? If not, can his messages that do not add to the thread they are in be deleted? Then again, that's about 95% of his posts so I gues that that would be impractical.

Purecco Posterior, you come across as being a 12 - 16 year old male. With problems. And too much education for your room temperature I. Q. And no one to slap you in your face. But don't feel too bad, the one ot two posts of yours that actually add something to the thread give me hope that, if you live, you might become a human being some day.

Phoenix, I'm only one man. Others would need to be able to reproduce as well, to ensure the gene pool has enough variety. I'm not stupid :).

CC, you mean you're NOT a man? Are you trying to say that you're a woman, or are you just so feminine in real life that you're suprised you come across as a man? Perhaps if we heard the gay lisp you apparently have...

Shady, it's nice to know that an "insufferable know-it-all" such as yourself associates age with maturity. It's nice to know that you yourself are problem-free (evinced by your understanding of what it is to have problems). It's nice to know that you believe in over-education (by the way, room temperature isn't normally at 136 degrees unless you yourself have come up with some new way of measuring it; but WHO trusts I.Q. tests?!). And it's nice to know that you are a proponent of violence. I SINCERELY hope that I have added something (by your lofty standards) to this thread and I look forward to anything else you might be willing to share with me in the future.

Don't hide behind a number that says you're smart. All it is is a number. It doesn't prove anything to us. We judge you by how you act on this board, not by a silly little number you throw at us. If you want our respect, then earn it by actually contributing something to the board.

I do. I contribute sarcastic humor, lighthearted goodness, and insight into the ways of the universe. You should try not to approach me with prejudice because I try not to do the same to you. I DID sleight I.Q. tests. Pay attention.

I have no newbie of the week this week, simply because no one has stood out as yet. That means the award is still up for grabs, if anyone would like to reach out with both hands and grab it. On a side note, on my last day as a teenager, I did squat. Tomorrow is a new day, a new decade, and damned if I'll be grouped with immature bastards aged 13-19 again!

Instead I will now be grouped with yuppies. Oh joy.

    Ahahahahaaa.... *wipes tear from eye*

Nothing you have said to date has anyone else found humorous. In addition, every post your write comes across as serious and argumentative. Like I said, despite you wanting it to come across differently, you have yet a lot to learn about writing it as such - use smiles for goodness sake for that is indeed what they are for.

And as for your so called 'insight' into the ways of the universe I have yet to see you back up a single one of your theories with any practical observation. Nothing you have said to date on that subject can be shown as having any bearing on reality through experimentation (indeed, it goes against most of the experimentation and observation made to date).

But let's not get onto that in this thread. Just try to use smilies in the future and make your posts LOOK just that little bit more lighthearted if they truly are meant to be so. All you come across as so far is an arrogant, argumentative jerk.

Just because you use smileys doesn't mean I should.

Sure, like you speak for everyone and every single post I've made, as if you've read them all or paid them mind.

Actually, I HAVE read every post you've made to date. :p I simply judge from the replies to your posts that none have found them funny. If you read the replies to your posts too then you'd realise this.

If you want people to know if you're making a joke or not you'd better.

Well, I at least agree with Ferret, you aren't humorous. I don't believe I've read anything of yours that came across as funny. Of course, it might if you didn't act like a butthole all the time. You're attitude makes anything you say that might be funny less so.

I don't. I have known very mature kids who were still in single digits. Well, not their tast in TV or music, their outlook & reasoning. I have also known 50 + year old peter pans. The SCA is full of them. Also mature people of all ages.

    Where did I say that?

They do accurately predict your preformance on other IQ tests.

Not usualy, but in your case I could make an exception.

No, not realy, but you showed just enough manners to deserve an answer.

I've never taken an IQ test before but it sounds like you answer questions which means that it's probably inaccurate imagine you take an IQ test then you get your results immediatly after that you take another one get the results etc. until it is done 10 times. Most likely your scores will difer from test to test you will probably say get the average but lets say you did VERY poorly on one test because you were tired so your average drops let's say from above average to average. I just think there are too many factors to determine your IQ were you on drugs, alchohol when you took the test, were you sad, angry etc.

IQ tests fall into two categories - individual and group. Group tests are easier and cheaper to administer, but they're not as accurate or complete. They're still pretty good though. Individual tests are expensive, go for up to 1.5 hours and give the psychologist who administered it a very accurate idea of how intelligent you are, provided the test is also a good one (i.e. test what it intends to test and a few other things). Mood and emotion can affect your score, but no more than plus or minus 10 points.

IQ tests are not usually intended to be regular, by the way.

Don't groups of people tend to be less intelligent than the sum of their parts?? Mob mentality and all that?? The greatest steps in science were taken alone. I wonder what our group would score on one of those tests. . .
