This is so annoying... I try to pick a lock and I fail, then it jams the lock. But what on God's green earth do I do to "unjam" the lock so that I then can try to pick it again OR use a key? Jamming - the most boring and crap aspect of any RPG. Thanks in advance for any help on this /A
First I would like to welcome you to the site... as for "jammed" locks the only way I have found to "cure" the problem is to attack it and destroy it.
Go away for a couple of days and it might get unstuck. Unless it is a shopkeepers door. I will write more in detail later.
Rumor has it that an explosion sometimes unsticks things, but I've never tried it myself. I figure, once you start smashing, why stop.
Not being a thief I don't care esp. that no one cares about things I smash. Still if one is patient enough containers can be destroyed using Hushed Revolver. It's silent, doesn't jam the lock but takes a long time and uses lots of ammo.
if your gonna smash something open, just remember not to use swords or daggers, those take damamge... axes are okay, though...
Hammers and maces don't take too much damage either. Mr nobodie, what I was talking about was killing the shopkeepers and mabye some important people you can get quests from.
When you wake up everyone in the damn neighborhood!!! Guards attack you, some citizens might attack you, and shopkeepers get really pissed off. edit: sorry I meant Dragoon. I didn't look too good. _________________ You can try all you want but I will still be here. Watching and waiting for you to make a mistake.
