So your saying masterbation is the key to enjoying life. It cost nothing, you always have time for it, and you always have the energy for it.

Progress Report for Saturday November 14th
    Starting Count: 34,053
    Finishing Count: 36,306
    Day's Count: 2,253
Location Written: My room, Josh's house
While Watching: Crank: High Voltage (seriously, wtf was with this film?), Class of the Titans (Odie is love), Josh playing the new Ratchet and Clank game
While Listening To: The Arcanum Soundtrack, J-E-N-O-V-A from Chocobo's Magic Book 2
Today Was: Less productive than I would have liked
Stuff I'm Looking Forward To: Tomorrow's get-together with a couple of local NaNo'ers. It's gonna be great.

BONUS: What I pray my cover blurb looks like if this gets published...

    Grand Symphony
For all that it had a fancy name, the town of Hightower was small, quiet and simple - all that Jean ever wanted out of life, in fact. She was taught to use her tiny Spark of magic usefully, and she was the Journeyman to the local Scribe, a solid position that guaranteed her employment for the rest of her life. Then her father finally got himself killed on campaign, and her entire world got turned upside down...

Lacking the money and experience to run her father's estate, she finds herself in the unenviable position of having to sell her childhood home and return to the city of her birth, Tarant, a city she can barely even remember, While going through his papers in order to wrap up his affairs, she discovers that the grandmother she has long thought dead is not only still alive, but has been searching for her since she was a child.

But her joy at discovering her family is dulled by infighting, politics and magic bias. The Mage's Society is facing pressure from all sides, with technology forcing its way into the realms that had always belonged to magic and numerous bids to have the 'Magic District' moved entirely.

Yet the greatest threat to the strange new society she's joined may come from within, as ancient secrets and a long-brewing conflict finally explodes into a terrible inferno...

The blurb is looking good. It's intriguing and makes the reader want to know more, which is the goal of every blurb after all. But as good as it is, I'm not sure if it isn't a bit too long.

Xiao's a woman, it can never be too long. Much like a submarine sandwich.

That she will put in her vagina

Theme of Angel as in Buffy? Because the more I learn about you, the more I think I'm going to abduct you and chain you in my basement.

Angel as in Buffy, yes. I'm not the biggest Buffy or Angel fan, but I do love the final season of Angel. A lot.

Not only that, but it's a poncy suit of armour who fusses about Jean's taste in clothes and short hair.

If you consciously intended that as a Fallout 3 reference I will have to kill you with fire.
