Don't forget, Grak, December is also the time of booze, food and sloth.

    I've never tried sloth.
How is it? Does it taste like chicken?

Tastes like indugence and much-needed sleep, actually.

So Xiao was the final count 54,541 or did you write a little more over the last week?

I've written plenty more - my word count is currently sitting comfortably on 62,046 and is still growing nicely - I'm just not heart attacking over word counts or doing daily updates any more. And don't assume that I'll stop writing just yet either - I've still got plenty of plot to work with.

51,349 as of approximately three hours ago! I win!
I've considered spending the next year going back through what I've written and editing it, doing my best to ensure that I've conveyed precisely the messages I've intended to convey. I doubt my resolve matches the scope of my intention, however.

Congratulations Xiao_Caity and other winners of NaNoWriMo! Do we have any other Lords who have completed the challenge?

NaNoWriMo isn't successive. You don't need to wait til next year to edit your work again. Edit it now and do something new next year. I know that I, for one, can't stay focused on one subject for more than 2 months at a time. Otherwise, I would probably be a famed* author by now.

*As famed as the author of 'If you give a mouse a cookie', anyway.

Your LiveJournal does not support anonymous comments, so let's just say that I support the eye for an eye principle from a tree's point of view with regards to certain pyromaniacs.

Well, yes, quite. Glad to know someone actually read that post. I was in quite the mood when I wrote it.

Anyway, the NaNo's over. *faints from exhaustion*

Aye, as I've considered: spend the next 330 days or so going over what I've written in the last thirty, and start a new fiction next November. Something steampunk mayhaps...
