Yes, but your feet still grow damp and cold. Seeing as I made a report on the entire country in 9th grade, I'm obviously an expert.

I bet they just threw a few crosses into the osmosis tank.
But, since they erroneously pluralized Canadians with an apostrophe, I hope they screw up and drop a pentagram into one.

What's up with this holy water thing anyway? How could water, whose only defining quality is that it happens to come from a certain place or have had a prayer uttered above it, in any way be better than what I draw from the tap?

"I'm sorry, but your baptism doesn't count, we used the wrong water."

If he didn't preach against idolatry, I could almost envision the Chick tract.

Speaking of water, my boyfriend was doing a bit of research, and he found that some people put copper sulphate in their goods to 'purify' the drink. The copper sulfate attracts the water particles, making the alcohol content in the drink more concentrated.

I asked him how you take the copper sulphate out, and he said that you have to wait for it to crystalise. I asked him if it's safe to drink. He says as long as you are patient enough to wait for the crystals to form.

It sort of acts like a 'copper sulphate filter', like carbon does with water. Some wineries do that to their wines to concentrate the wine and draw out the water.

It just reminded me about a high school science class in which one clown was dared to drink copper sulphate...

The little college chemistry I remember from that mushroom-filled semester I spent at an engineering school makes me curious how that turned out for that poor schmuck.

His cheeks turned blue for the day. Then he started sweating crystals.

We didn't see him for another week.
