Only just heard about this. Appearantly a large asteroid is heading this way, although the chance of it actually being on a course heading straight for Earth is unlikely.

But there's a chance. I pray it'll hit us, things are starting to get a bit screwy downhere anyway, i think a reboot is just what we need. We were gonna destroy the earth ourselves anyway, better save us the trouble and leave it in the hands of a very capable comet :)

Maniac... what are you talking about?

Chances are highest that it'll hit America anyway! (either that or the oceans or africa, which aren't so good, seeing as ***** apparently lives in Africa!)

Why would a comet hit us? It would burn up in the atmosphere. Unless it hits and leaves us all buried in dust stitting at our terminals for archeologists of 4002 to find.

Worst *!&%@ (politicians, lobbysts) would survive anyway hidden deep underground like better citizens should. Then they'd get out and rule again in a world deprived of many laws which, if only a bit, limit their actions nowadays. And those who'd suffer the most would be average people not necessarily responsible for what's going on nowadays. Would it be so good?

Yeah, a comet the size of this one would merely cause continent-wide destruction, so parts of the world could still survive. But it would leave a whole new continet open for discovery and adventure! Someone hand me a sword!

You all seem to be forgetting the dust cloud. If a comet did hit, the shockwave and seismic turmoil would destroy whichever continent it landed on, and the dust cloud resultant from the impact would cause a nuclear winter for at 50 years. This would kill off all plant life, except blue-green algaes, and such small and low light-level plantoids. However, these are poisonous, so the result would be the removal of about 90% of the animal volume from the surface of the planet.

    What about the Bunny-roaches?

No.. wait! they form during the nuclear winter!

Anyway, about 80% (I think) of all humans will be wiped out too, because the majority of them live in undeveloped countries and/or don't have access to the resources neccessary to survive a nuclear winter (It'll also be extremely cold leading to another ice age).

ah who cares? Why the fuck don't we just kill everyone, there's no more point in trying to go on further, we're just gonna end up killing ourselves off! May as well save any other lifeforms that aren't going to fuck things up as we are!

That's quite a defeatist attitude you got there Yyde!

Tell you what! Why don't you go and kill just yourself, and then you won't have to worry about us!
